The PADI Open Water Course Premium takes you to a new dimension in underwater adventure. This is your first step to becoming a certified Scuba Diver. The PADI Open Water Course Premium theory component is done completely by self-study, and then our qualified PADI Instructor will supervise the compulsory theory final exam and quizzes, then guide you through all of the practical components of the course where you will be diving during your pool session, shore dives and dives aboard our dive boat HABANA.
By the end of this course you will be a certified diver which will expand your opportunities and open a door to a whole new world of fabulous dive destinations, exciting people and unlimited adventure!

Are there any prerequisites?

Anyone over the age of 12, with reasonable levels of fitness, is medically fit to dive and is water confident. Anyone with a keen sense of adventure is a perfect candidate!

How long does it take?

The total course time is 4 full days, the structure of those tailored to suit your needs. Courses may be run over weekdays; evenings and weekends; or a set day per week for 4 weeks. We are extremely flexible when it comes to our student divers needs. The boat dives will take place on a day when the boat is scheduled to go to our array of fantastic dive sites.

How much does it cost?

The complete PADI Open Water Course Premium costs $520 per person. Class sizes may vary but generally we like to keep them small.

What is included?

  • Use of full set of scuba equipment including mask, snorkel and fins, however due to safety, hygiene and comfort we strongly recommend you use your own snorkeling equipment. Our team can advise you on the best equipment for your needs if you wish to purchase it and give you a 10% course discount
  • PADI Open Water Crew Pack (manual, log book, tables & medical form)
  • Supervision during theory quizzes and final exam.
  • Practical Instruction and Supervision including five confined water modules in a local ocean pool and four open water modules consisting of four shore dives and two boat dives.
  • PADI Certification Card and Wall Certificate

What do I need to bring?

  • A "Fit to Dive" Medical form signed by one of our referred physicians (medical is provided in your Crew Pack)

How do I sign up?

Call Action Divers or drop by and book your place on the next available course. A $150 deposit secures your place. Courses are held regularly based on demand.
