The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is a great safe way to experience a variety of different types of diving under the professional supervision and guidance of a PADI Instructor. Your PADI Advanced Open Water Course challenges you in the following areas: Underwater Navigation, Night Diving and Deep Diving. As well, Underwater Naturalist Dive - where you learn more about the underwater life such as different fish life, plants and other unusual animals and many other fascinating aspects of the underwater environment; Search and Recovery Dive - teaches you how to search for a lost object underwater and use a lift bag to recover them. Being a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver enables you to dive the Pinnacle to a depth of 30 metres. This is a 27-40 metre dive site where we find the most Grey Nurse Sharks. You will be able to Night Dive sites like the Bull Ring and The Wall. It also means you are eligible to enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver Course, as this is the next step in your Continuing Education. Are There Any Prerequisites? Anyone 12 years of age and over, with reasonable levels of fitness, medically fit to dive and is water confident. Divers with a keen sense of fun and adventure are perfect candidates. You must be certified as an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver. How Long Does It Take? The total course time is two full days and two evenings, the structure of those tailored to suit your needs. Only one theory night is required. Most of the theory is done by self-study in your own time and at your own pace. How Much Does It Cost? The complete PADI Advanced Open Water Course costs $375 person. A discount for group bookings applies with prices on application. What Is Included?

How Do I Sign Up? Call Action Divers or drop by and book your place on the next available course. A $150 deposit secures your place. You will receive your crew pack and can begin your course immediately by doing your self-study. Read the appropriate modules in your manual "Adventures in Diving" and complete the knowledge reviews. Courses are held regularly based on demand. |
